In Newfoundland and Labrador, salting (or “making”) fish was done to keep fish before refrigeration was readily available. Once the basis of Newfoundland and Labrador economy, salt fish has persevered as a significant part of our history and culture.
NOTE: Pewter Pendants are suspended on steel curb chain or hand cut black deerskin cord - your choice of 18” or 24” length.
